Femail® 2000 Exchange connector

The Femail® 2000 Exchange connector connects your MS Exchange servers to all the environments supported by Femail® 2000. Handling fax-, SMS-, Telex etc. becomes as simple as sending and receiving E-mail messages in MS Outlook. The days of having to handle different types of communication using an equal amount of different tools and devices are over. By integrating these forms of communication into your Exchange solution, your e-mail users will have unlimited communication capabilities. Every business partner worldwide becomes an integral part of your communication community by being virtually connected to your messaging system.

The Femail® 2000 Exchange connector is designed as a Microsoft Exchange connector service. After installing it on one or more Exchange servers it is fully integrated into your Exchange environment and can be managed through the standard Windows and MS Exchange administration tools.

Connecting MS Exchange to Femail® 2000 means that:

• Users can now use MS Outlook to send and receive messages to any environment supported by your Femail® 2000 system, even address e-mail messages to a mix of destinations for example sending a mail to both an e-mail and fax destination.
• Delivery reports will automatically be send back to the user's mailbox.
• Address templates are made availble in Outlook to address messages to fax, sms, etc.
• Address book entries and Business fax items from the Outlook Contacts folder are supported.
• Mailbox attributes in the Active Directory can be used to specify how messages should be processed.
• When sending a message to fax, attachments such as Word document, PDF documents etc will be automatically converted.
• Fax cover pages can be added on the server to give even quickly written e-mail messages a sharp layout which complies with your company document standards.
