Femail® 2000 External Send API Service

The External Send API provides an easy and straightforward programming interface which can be used to extend your own applications with all messaging capabilities offered by Femail® 2000. Through this interface your application can send out fax, SMS, etc. messages by creating simple text command files which are posted in a folder queue. With a minimum of development effort you can now integrate your business applications into your messaging environment.

Some specific features

• A message can be addressed to one or more destinations
• The message can contain one or more attachments, if file conversion is required (for example when sending a Word document to fax) the Femail® 2000 Gateway will take care of the appropriate conversion.
• For each message it can specify where the notification should be delivered to (for example a user mailbox)
• Various priorities can be set including delayed sending
