Femail® 2000 Lotus Notes Service

The Femail® 2000 Lotus Notes Service connects your Lotus Notes servers to all the environments supported by Femail® 2000. Handling fax-, SMS-, Telex etc. becomes as simple as sending and receiving E-mail messages in Notes. The days of having to handle different types of communication using an equal amount of different tools and devices are over. By integrating these forms of communication into your Notes solution, your e-mail users will have unlimited communication capabilities. The Femail® 2000 Lotus Notes Service runs as a module on the Femail® 2000 Gateway server and interfaces with the Notes server through a Router mailbox which it accesses through the Notes API.

Connecting Lotus Notes to Femail® 2000 means that:

• Users can now use their Notes client to send and receive messages to any environment supported by your Femail® 2000 system, even address e-mail messages to a mix of destinations for example sending a mail to both an e-mail and fax destination.
• Delivery reports will automatically be send back to the user's mailbox.
• When sending a message to fax, attachments such as Word document, PDF documents etc will be automatically converted.
• Fax cover pages can be added on the server to give even quickly written e-mail messages a sharp layout which complies with your company document standards.
